The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and uncleaned toilets filled the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of ammonia , old age and a sickly smell. The counter , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and debris that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The restroom was in even worse condition — spilling over , with a shattered handle and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was human excrement .

Going through other patrons’ reviews and speaking with locals , it seems that the standard of sanitation (or lack thereof) at this so-called establishment is a persistent problem . Many visitors have reported spotting critters darting across the bar area and signs of rats in the adjoining rooms.
